COATS FROM THE HEART
Heart To Heart Empowerment has been donating coats to underserved children since 2011. Many children will not attend school because they do not have a coat during the winter months.. Every child who needs a coat should have one. You can be the difference in a child’s life.
Just $20.00 will purchase A BRAND NEW COAT for a child in need. No donation is too small or too large.
What We Do
School Supplies
We provide backpacks and age-appropriate educational supplies to low-income families through our signature H2H Luvs R Kids! Annual Backpack Give-Away.
Coats From The Heart
No child should worry about staying warm when it’s cold. Heart To Heart Empowerment provides brand-new coats to children in need, which keeps them warm, healthier, and boosts their self-esteem.
Why We Do What We Do
Once a single parent, Rev. Shirley Hensford knows too well the high cost of school supplies, the challenges and financial burden it presents, and the beauty of support from community, family and friends. Her son was able to excel, but it took a Village. He is now a Social Worker, husband and father of her two heartbeats. Rev. Shirley feels a personal responsibility to give back to the community and help others; hence, the birth of Heart To Heart Empowerment, Inc.
